While I have had the luxury of traveling the world, Monte Carlo is still on my list of places I must go. The night life and luxury of Monte Carlo has made a name for itself, hence the Blue Area Monte Carlo Cashmere Sweater exudes luxury as does the place it is named after. Exclusively online at Saks, the Blue Area sweater features Italian cashmere with a ribbed v-neck, cuffs, and hem. The sweater features numbers, hot spots, a legendary local beauty from the exciting town in Monaco.

I am on the fence with this cardigan; is it frumpy and matronly or is it warm and cozy? I am not one for being cold, when the chill of the seasons come I wrap up right away. I always love the idea of a zip up cardigan, it is easy to throw on and easy to layer. Sometimes they look too juvenile and simple, and the By Malene Birger High Neck Cardigan borders boring. Yet I am still drawn to the fawn alpaca blend along with the high neck asymmetric zip fastening. The contrast knit panel could look as if my grandma made it, as could the patch pocket on each side, but it just looks so cozy. For this item, I would need to try it on, but what do you think? Matronly or a great layer?

The design of this sweater is especially perfect if you are looking to hide a little pumpkin pie, ice cream cone, or french fry. The fitted bottom with more material on top leaves room to be comfortable and not overly clingy in the 12th Street by Cynthia Vincent Cashmere Sweater. Cashmere feels divine on your skin, and this sweater is a gray ribbed cashmere blend. The draped neck is my favorite part, adding a chic dimension up top, along with the press stud fastenings on the shoulder.

Sweater weather makes my body feel warm and cozy. Today I saw a few leaves turning, which is actually coming a tad late, but the slight drop in temperature put a smile on my face from ear to ear. Bundling up in sweaters is one of my favorite parts of the cold weather. The Theory Cowlneck Tunic combines wool and cashmere, which will keep you warm and feeling divine. This oversized tunic is designed in a chunky cable knit tweed pattern, with short sleeves, a cowl neck, and a bottom band. The model is shown sporting it with a skirt, but I may get this and just go for leggings or skinny jeans.

Coco Chanel proclaimed that “luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury”. Sometimes you need a tight little top that shows off your assets, and sometimes you simply need to be comfortable. In the colder months you can get away with looser clothing and layering. The See by Chloe Roll Neck Sweater features plush gray wool on a half sleeve sweater with two small patch pockets on the front. The hem is ribbed and the sleeves are loose for comfort. Being comfortable should always be very important when buying clothing, and by the looks of this sweater the comfort factor is of utmost importance. Also available in yellow.

There is no better feeling that being bundled up sitting by the fire drinking cocoa while it snows outside. The cream cable knit Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Bow Front Sweater features a bow on the front which makes this a warm and feminine number. There is a crew neck top, long sleeves, and ribbed trim. The sweater is meant to be fitted, allowing wiggle room with the zip fastening on the back. A bow may not be for you, but if it is, this is a stunning winter wonder.
