Rick Owens Lilies Asymmetric Jersey Top

Posted on 01/28/2008 under Jackets , Tops No Comments

Rick Owens Lilies Asymmetric Jersey Top The only problem I foresee with this top is if you do not have the right body or right outfit, the back of this top may look like a tail. I actually love the Rick Owens Lilies Asymmetric Jersey Top but worry about the gathering of the material in the back. The key to many outfits now is layering, and this jersey top is ideal. The top is designed with black viscose and silk and features an open top with a tie front. You can choose tie it together or leave it undone. A very casual feel, this top comes from the Rick Owens’ diffusion collection.

Bottega Veneta Ruched Leather Jacket

Bottega Veneta Ruched Leather Jacket It is obvious I have an obsession with Bottega Veneta, especially lately. But have you seen their products?? I can’t help it. And now there is one size left (Italian size 40, go figure my size!) in this stunning and what is so justifiably perfect jacket, that I have quite the nervous twitch. The Bottega Veneta Ruched Leather Jacket goes to show that a leather jacket does not need to be masculine in the least bit, rather add the perfect feminine touches to a divine buttery soft taupe leather to make the perfect jacket. The buttery soft leather that BV is known for is ruched on this jacket, in all the right places. It ruches around your waist, to show off your figure, and again around your neckline. The balloon style sleeves sport ties at the cuffs, again showing that this jacket has the perfect feminine touches. After my Hermes haul, I should not buy this, but my buying fingers feel like it would look so perfect with what was inside my big orange box!

Bottega Veneta Felt Wrap Jacket

Bottega Veneta Felt Wrap Jacket After spending the weekend cold and bundled up, I realized it is time to purge some of my old winter clothing and buy new. I have had my eyes on this scrumptious jacket for the past few weeks, and as the sizes are selling out, you must nab it before it is gone! This is the stunning dark gray Bottega Veneta Felt Wrap Jacket which is designed with a wool and angora blend. The coat simply wraps around and you can tie it as tight or loose as you like with the self-tie belt. There are rolled back puff sleeves and two front patch pockets. As I sit here and see the rain and cold outside, this jacket puts a warm smile on my face.

Oscar de la Renta Houndstooth Tweed Jacket

Oscar de la Renta Houndstooth Tweed Jacket

When I travel to cities like Paris and Munich, I realize that the US fashion is in a completely different realm. On the streets of Paris you will not see a woman in a long shirt with tights under it, and NO! PANTS!. Yet, my lifestyle is very laid back, and while I know when to dress up and how to do it, I prefer my day to day wear to be casual chic. There is something so intriguing and alluring about the Oscar de la Renta Houndstooth Tweed Jacket. Granted this is not a piece that is similar to a long scrubby tee-shirt, it indeed is a runway look, yet it is so casual and at the same time so fashionable. This couture jacket sports brown lacquer with a large ivory houndstooth tweed collar and cuff trim. I love the belted waist that features a tortoiseshell buckle. There are two patch pockets on the front and press stud fastenings down the middle. Throw it on with jeans and run out the door to get the groceries and the kids, chic and casual.

By Malene Birger High Neck Cardigan

By Malene Birger High Neck Cardigan I am on the fence with this cardigan; is it frumpy and matronly or is it warm and cozy? I am not one for being cold, when the chill of the seasons come I wrap up right away. I always love the idea of a zip up cardigan, it is easy to throw on and easy to layer. Sometimes they look too juvenile and simple, and the By Malene Birger High Neck Cardigan borders boring. Yet I am still drawn to the fawn alpaca blend along with the high neck asymmetric zip fastening. The contrast knit panel could look as if my grandma made it, as could the patch pocket on each side, but it just looks so cozy. For this item, I would need to try it on, but what do you think? Matronly or a great layer?

Alexander McQueen Studded Napa Leather Jacket

Alexander McQueen Studded Napa Leather Jacket A completely seamed style, the Alexander McQueen Studded Napa Leather Jacket showcases Napa leather in a jacket that provides asymmetric lines and a bold feel. There is a stand collar along with an asymmetric front zipper. Because this jacket is such a different look and is made to be fitted, it will take a very slender body to pull it off. The back is also seamed with an inverted pleat. Very Medieval feeling on a couture piece of designer clothing.

See by Chloe Leather Bomber Jacket

See by Chloe Leather Bomber JacketNo one pulls off a bomber jacket better than Maverick (Tom Cruise) and Charlie (Kelly McGillis) did. Take off into the sky with the See by Chloe Leather Bomber Jacket. This tan leather jacket offers a ribbed fabric waistband with two button fastening pockets on the front. Pop the collar to appear Top Gun chic and zip up to stay warm. Brown canvas lining lines the inside.
