Any of you fans of American Idol? I have been off an on a fan of the show, watching religiously one season and skipping out on the next. This season I am back in and obsessed with the show (who does not love David Archuleta?!). Sales are amazing, except when I see that I bought an item full price and it is now marked on sale. It seems to happen to me often, but when I am in love with an item, it does not phase me much. While shopping at Saks two weeks ago, I tried on this amazing sweater dress and fell in love. It seems I am dress obsessed. I just can’t help it. Dresses exudes femininity. While many women do not think of their back as sexy and sultry, many men do. Silky and creamy, this dress lured me in. The Rebecca Taylor Babydoll Dress is nothing astounding, but it features lush materials, like silk and cashmere, and adds a little flavor with the beaded detail at the neck. The neck also features a turtle neck, which will keep you warm as the temperatures continue to dip as will the long sleeves. I love this with opaque black tights (go figure). As much as this dress is completely simple, it is simply cute. With all of the layering options, the BI LA LI Wool Cape Dress keeps it simple with a biscuit lambswool fabric with a cute self-tie belt. The shape is beyond simple, yet the belt allows you to show off your waist a tad. Because the neck is so simple, throw on a chunky gold necklace to draw attention to your neck and chest. I love the idea of ribbed tights and a polo neck layering. Put on your black booties and you are good to go.
