Chanel Blue Satin Nail Polish

The craze surrounding the Chanel Black Satin Nail Polish (color 219) last season was exorbitant. The fact that $19 nail polish was being sold on eBay for $65 confuses me. But I have to admit, I am wearing this dark hue right now and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, for all of you that finally have your hands on the Black Satin Polish, this color is so last season! The new color that is already sold out in many stores and was used on the Chanel Runway show is the Chanel Blue Satin Nail Polish. This color is number 461 from the highly coveted Le Vernis Nail Colour line from Chanel. The polish is long lasting and said to be chip resistant (which is not entirely true, but it does outlast many polishes). The new blue hue is a very deep blue, offering a glimmer of color when in sunlight and looking darker when not. I tried the Chanel counter at Saks, but they are sold out and I am on a wait list. Luckily, I popped on Neiman Marcus last night and it said the polish is still in stock! I bought two and can not wait to try the new hue. Hurry and try to nab this color before it is up on eBay for $65 a pop!
